Ashley walks for the Royal Derby breast cancer unit

On the 29 July, Ashley Kirk, our Group Commercial Director, will take on the 70-mile Northumberland Coastal Path Challenge to raise as much money as possible for the breast cancer unit at the Royal Derby Hospital.
 
Ashley explains why he’s taking on the challenge: “This is a cause that is very close to my heart as I can’t thank them enough for the support and rehabilitation that they provided for my mum in 2021 and at the beginning of this year.
 
“As a small way of showing my gratitude, I will be walking the route with my mate Ryan Hudson who is also doing this to get valuable funds for another fantastic cancer support charity Team Solan, which works around the Durham area.
 
“Neither of us have done anything like this before so we expect it to be quite a challenge. We aim to complete the route over four days.
 
“Please give us any support you can because any money, no matter how small, will make a massive difference to these charities in these difficult times. Thank you. It really means a lot.”
