STAR Award – Alun Matthews
 
Our STAR Award focuses on rewarding the people we’re proud to have on our AM Services Group for their positive actions and behaviours and for demonstrating these at work and in daily life.
 
Alun Matthews, who heads up our security service at the Arndale Morecambe Bay shopping centre, was nominated for an AM Services Group STAR Award by his deputy Garry Price.

Garry told us: “Since starting at the centre, Alun has taught me a lot about working as a retail security officer. He always treats his team in the same positive manner and is always willing to do jobs himself without putting on others. Our team won Team of the Month recently, and that is due to him keeping us all together, working hard and making sure we do our jobs the best we can. With his guidance, we as a team have reduced shoplifting an awful lot and have earned a lot of trust and respect from the public. Alun is a well-respected person and a well-respected guard.”
