Rehan Khan shows great empathy towards a customer in distress at Rochdale Riverside
An act of kindness goes a long way and this was certainly true when our colleague Rehan Khan, who works at Rochdale Riverside retail and leisure centre, took the time, trouble and care to help a distressed customer.
Rehan was called to an incident in the mini-golf unit where two women were both very distressed by an incident where one of them had £25 stolen from her, leaving her with no money to get home. Rehan immediately calmed and reassured the women, giving the customer £25 of his own money to help her as it was all that she had.
He is regularly recognised for going above and beyond what is expected of him and for his outstanding customer service skills.
The centre management team were delighted with Rehan’s actions and together with our Senior Management Team, felt that he was a worthy recipient of the Colleague of the Month Award.
