Loo of the Year Awards 2021
AM Services Group shines with outstanding results in Loo of the Year and Washroom Cleaner of the Year Awards 2021
Due to the pandemic restrictions, there were no Loo of the Year Awards made in 2020, so this year the cleaning and hygiene industry was delighted to see these prestigious awards come back, recognising the positive impact a well-presented washroom can make for businesses.
We are proud to bring you news of the 2021 awards and of our best-ever success in the awards and ratings.
Proud to help our clients stand out with award-winning loos
Most customers are sticklers for good hygiene and it’s only too clear to see that the British public is really not prepared to suffer poor washroom standards. Some people go to great lengths to warn other people on social media when they have had a bad experience too.
On an outing to a shopping centre, when going out to watch a film or have something to eat, or when we’re at work, the state of the washrooms can say an awful lot about a business. Unhygienic toilets, a poor stock of consumables, such as hand soap or toilet rolls, and bad smells can all give an impression that the company just doesn’t care about its customers or staff. And, since the pandemic, the public seems even more sensitive to issues around poor hygiene with a concerted push towards cleanliness.
That’s why we pride ourselves on our reputation for helping our clients stay at the forefront of their customers’ minds for all the right reasons, keeping their washrooms hygienic and in tip-top condition. Our success in doing this means that we’re adding to our long-standing record of gaining Loo of the Year Awards and top accolades for our customers yet again in 2021.
Better than ever at the Loo of the Year Awards 2021
All entries to the Loo of the Year Awards receive a Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond grade, while only Platinum and Diamond winners are considered for the National and Overall Awards.
All cleaning staff are entered into the Washroom Cleaner of the Year Awards.

About the Loo of the Year Awards
The Loo of the Year Awards encourage the highest possible standards in all ‘away from home’ washrooms and focuses on the responsibility of washroom providers, managers, contractors, staff, visitors and customers to make this happen.
The independent awards have run for 33 years, putting the spotlight on the very best washrooms in the UK and Ireland. It is an established benchmark of washroom provision and compliance to national standards.
Each entry is fully assessed against established judging criteria, including male and female facilities, baby-changing, accessible etc., and all entries receive a Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond rating, following an unannounced visit by a fully-trained and authorised Loo of the Yea Awards Inspector.
The Loo of the Year Awards 2021 were made in February at the National Motorcycle Museum in the West Midlands.
