Congratulations to the incredible Cargill Trafford Park team

Our Senior Management Team is pleased to announce that our industrial specialist cleaners, based on site at Cargill, in Trafford Park, Manchester, are the winners of the AM Services Group Team of the Year Award 2021.

Over 12 months last year, the team worked closely together and worked proactively with our client, a leading food and animal feed manufacturer, making an extraordinary effort in a coordinated approach to enhance the hygiene standards on the site.

This outstanding service was noticed many times by our client, who praised them regularly on their performance, for doing a high-quality job and for making a positive difference.

Richard Grundy, our General Manager for Specialist Cleaning Services, commented: “This has been quite an achievement for our Key Account Manager Jamie and our team of industrial cleaners here. Jamie has led the team from the front, along with the site supervisor, with positive energy and strong team engagement to achieve fantastic results. Our client has really noticed and appreciated what the team has been doing. This has created a strong client relationship and a great atmosphere in which to make changes for the better, to try new innovations, and to get real results.”

Key Account Manager Jamie McGillicuddy said: “The partnership with the client has enabled us to be involved in a project to improve engineering and hygiene standards. AM Services Group is now part of regular weekly workshops and plant tours to identify areas for improvement and our opinions and ideas are welcomed. We have provided cleaning tool requirements for shadow boards and suggestions for vacuum system tools. We are part of the reporting system to identify areas of improvement and have been tasked with providing additional floor cleaning equipment and solutions for high level cleaning on building gutters. We have also been given the go-ahead by Cargill to install sensors to improve efficiencies for the cleaning team in areas that require immediate and out of hours attention.”
