Client’s Outstanding Contribution Award recognises our teamwork at chemical manufacturing site

What an honour it has been for our security team at this chemical manufacturing site in Stallingborough to receive our client’s award for Outstanding Contribution in 2020.
 
Our security team at the site have been rewarded by our client with their company award in recognition of the outstanding contribution and the constant hard work and dedication shown by the team, led by their supervisor Leslie Mason.
 
During 2020, from the time he joined the team in May, Leslie set the bar high. Taking a strong partnership approach, he worked closely with various key departments on site in order to build relationships and improve working practices. He has put a focus on developing processes and procedures and training to support high service standards by revising all security procedures and developing a comprehensive training matrix for each of his team. Recognising that strong communication is key to good service, Leslie prioritised developing good working relationships with other supervisors on the site and ensured that security had a voice at the contractor forum.

Our client commented: “Leslie and AMSG were awarded the Outstanding Contribution award which recognises those that have gone over and above their duty for site. We were very pleased to present this award to Les to recognise his dedication and hard work on site since joining us. Well done Les and team – a fantastic achievement well earned!” Leslie has also been praised for being “flexible to the needs of our site, reliable, dependable and always has the safety and security of site at the forefront of his mind” and for “a fresh eyed approach and a vast amount of knowledge”.

The team made huge improvements to the security service for the client last year, despite working on the frontline during the coronavirus pandemic and managing 24/7 site access in compliance with Covid-19 guidance. Even though they have had to ensure everyone’s safety and strict processes are followed, the team managed to end the year with zero incidents.
