Andy and Paul’s exceptional actions ensure ‘business as usual’

When Covid-19 resulted in our security manager and three of our team members on site needing to take unexpected time off work, all at the same time whilst another staff member was absent recovering from surgery, Andy Leddy and Paul Williams were quick to step up to the mark.

As the two remaining trained staff members, Andy and Paul did not hesitate in pulling together, for the team and the client, arranging cover for the site between them. They cancelled their own plans in December and scheduled shifts to ensure that a continuous, quality service was maintained.

Without their commitment and initiative the Tier 1 COMAH site was at risk of closure, as servicing the site requires specific, high level training. Our client added: “[…]Paul and Andy really went above and beyond to make sure we could continue to operate, they both deserve to be recognised for their efforts.”
