AM’s Zoe Atkinson shortlisted for the prestigious Worshipful Company of Pattenmakers’ Young Manager Award

The Worshipful Company of Pattenmakers operates two Young Managers Award schemes to provide career development support to deserving young managers, including one each year from the facilities management and built environment sector. In recent years the Company has become the livery home of the FM sector and of professionals from across the built environment sector, in addition to its traditional membership from City institutions and the footwear industry.

We are delighted to announce that, in what the organisers have described as a “record entry” year, that our Contracts Manager Zoe Atkinson has been named among the finalists for the award. The successful candidate will be selected by a judging panel of senior members from the FM industry.

The winner will receive expert support to create a varied and bespoke personal development programme, including things like off-site courses and work placements designed to broaden their perspectives.

Our Operations Director Neil Cooper, Zoe’s manager, comments: “It stands out how excited she always is for taking the best out of new situations and drawing on every opportunity she can for learning. Zoe uses ambition as a positive driving force for herself, her colleagues and our business. She understands how things are interlinked within FM and how these can be brought together to achieve success and satisfaction for everyone on every level, from her teams to her managers, from our business to our clients and their businesses. Zoe has a fresh, modern approach and is a true demonstration of where the industry is going.”

Zoe added: “I’m so honoured to be shortlisted for this prestigious award. I love FM! Every day in operations delivers a new challenge that needs to be overcome. There is no ‘standard’ day and that’s what makes it thrilling.”
