Kris scores for selflessly helping others

Kris Coates selflessly put aside his own leisure time and missed out on a match with his football team Leeds United when he was informed by the shopping centre’s duty controller that the site was endangered by a nearby fire. He made his way to The Ridings to support his fellow security officers and to help evacuate the centre.

He also received a thankyou letter from a member of the public for assisting an elderly lady who had fallen on an escalator on site. Kris provided invaluable first aid treatment and willingly stayed with the lady until the ambulance arrived on site.
