Dave stepped up when his manager developed Covid-19

Colleague of the Month – Dave Rasul, Perspex, Darwen

When our site manager went off work with Covid-19 symptoms and pneumonia, it was clear that he would be away for some time. Without any hesitation or prompt, Dave stepped up to the mark to take control and manage security services on site. He gave great help with the recruitment of an additional officer to cover any staff shortages, liaised with the client on a daily basis, and even came in on his rest days to ensure everything was running smoothly.

Our operations director says: “Dave demonstrated our values of ‘one team, one goal’ in the site’s hour of need. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with and nothing was too much trouble for him. We spoke regularly, day and night, and he even assisted with welfare calls.”
