Good enough is never enough for our AM STAR security manager

Star Award – Michael Bednall, Stretford Mall, Manchester

Michael is our site security manager at Stretford and certainly leads by example. He strives to take customer service to the next level, regularly going above and beyond what is asked of him to ensure that customers are satisfied and leave the shopping centre feeling happy. He and his team have received great feedback from the Makers Market and even from an ITV film crew when they were working on site: afterwards, both emailed the centre manager to express thanks for their help. But it’s not just customer service that the team is recognised for. Recently the centre manager praised them for achieving an “excellent standard” in a centre fire evacuation, making sure that visitors and staff were safe.

Our senior management team was delighted to give Michael a Star Award for going all out to help customers and for clearly demonstrating our key value: ‘Good enough is never enough – we grow stronger by continuously improving ourselves our services and partnerships’.
