An admirable 50 years’ service for Patricia

Long service awards are always an honour to give out, but when the presentation being made is for a sterling 50 years’ service, this really is something magnificent to celebrate. Our operations director Del McGee was delighted to visit our client’s site in Carrington, Greater Manchester, to recognise the fantastic achievement of our team member Patricia Barlow who has helped to keep the industrial company’s site clean for half a century. Pat received cards and gifts, at an occasion in November to mark the 50 year anniversary with her team mates and managers, from her grateful employers and colleagues.

Pat commented: “I come to work because I love it. Over the years I’ve seen some changes… and one of those is the cleaning methods used. It was a lot harder when I started 50 years ago. But I’ve loved every minute of working here and the people are wonderful.”

Glenn Maclennan, our site support manager, added: “Employees who are dependable and loyal are an asset to any business and Pat has certainly shown how committed she is through her unwavering service. She is a valuable and highly experienced member of our team and we feel lucky to have her. Congratulations, Pat, on your 50 years from our client and everyone at AM Services Group.”
