We keep rolling on at Leyland Trucks

We have been providing paint plant cleaning at Leyland Trucks’ Leyland Assembly Plant since 2010 and we were delighted to have the specialist cleaning contract extended with them recently.

The Leyland plant is one of Europe’s most advanced truck assembly facilities. The company employs around 1,000 people there and manufactures the full range of DAF products, of which around half is exported to the EU markets and around the world. We are proud to contribute to this ‘jewel in the crown of British manufacturing’, which receives regular praise for its efficiency, safety and cleanliness, both in internal and external benchmarking exercises.

Our specialist cleaning technicians have an impressive record of service at Leyland Trucks and we’re proud to maintain the paint booths to the very highest standards, supporting the company’s market leading standards and performance.

The senior maintenance engineer for Leyland Trucks Phil Glover explains: “The company has been working in our paint booths for many years now. They are experienced in this field and know what to touch and, most importantly, what not to touch. They ensure robust control processes and support our stringent risk review system. A strong partnership has developed over the years. We can be honest and open with each other and transparency is so important for us.”
