Colleague of the Month double delight

Colleague of the Month – Matthew Lundie, Tronox

Matthew joined our security team at Tronox in autumn last year and his professionalism and support for other employees, and contractors and visitors to site has been commended by our client. His leadership has led to an enhanced quality of service on site, and he is continually looking for new ways to improve processes, having developed assignment instructions and standard operating procedures to an extremely high level.
Each week he attends a contractor forum where he is always enthusiastic and engaged. He continues to develop great relationships with the client and the different departments and has received positive feedback. “We feel Matt would be very deserving of any internal recognition,” says our client, “and our directors certainly agree. Well done, Matt.

Colleague of the Month – Daniel Craven, Cargill, Brocklebank

This award goes to Daniel Craven, acting supervisor at our top tier COMAH client site Cargill, Brocklebank. Dan clearly demonstrated the skills of a great security professional – observation, quick-thinking, communication and initiative – when he noticed a haulage driver who looked to be in significant distress. Dan responded quickly to calm the man down and make him comfortable, whilst asking for emergency services to be contacted. Even while he was responding to this unexpected situation, Dan continued to manage full traffic control to the site to ensure that there was no disruption to business. David Wooley, Port Superintendent contacted our regional manager to congratulate Dan for being a credit to the team and conducting himself in a very calm, professional and exemplary manner.”
