Helping with hygiene at Edge Hill University in Ormskirk

We’re proud to have extended our portfolio of university clients recently by providing a range of hygiene services to our latest academic customer Edge Hill University in Ormskirk.

Edge Hill University has an attractive, award-winning 160-acre campus with an academic community comprising more than 10,000 full time undergraduate and postgraduate students and a further 6,000 on part time and professional development programmes. The university will offer an access to medicine course from 2019 and train doctors from 2020, following the announcement by the Secretary of State for health to establish a medical school there. Edge Hill is one of the few universities to have been awarded the Times Higher Education University of the year title and was this year named as University of the Year for Student Retention by The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide.

AM Services Group’s Waste and Washroom Division is providing feminine hygiene, clinical and sharps waste management services, as well as healthcare and clinical waste bags. “We are proud to work with the university’s facilities management team and to contribute to their award-winning, customer-centric culture that makes a direct and positive contribution to the core business – the attraction, recruitment and retention of students’’, says Nikki Phillips our Waste and Washroom Divisional Manager.
