Proud to support fantastic fundraising in NewRiver’s Way of the Roses part II

Setting off on Thursday 5th July, on a beautiful sunny day from the Morecambe Arndale Centre, will be 27 cyclists from NewRiver REIT, Hawthorn Leisure, and various key advisors who will brave the hot weather to travel 170 miles across country over three days to The Promenades, Bridlington’s popular shopping centre. The intrepid cyclists are raising money, through the Way of the Roses part II event (the first was back in 2016), for two hugely deserving causes, Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund and The Willow Foundation. This fantastic event is organised by NewRiver, a leading property investor, asset manager and developer, specialising in community retail and leisure. AM Services Group provides facilities services to The Promenades and is proud to support the event and to help raise money for the two charities.

AM Services Group’s managing director Adrian Cresswell will cycle the Way of the Roses from Morecambe, near the company’s headquarters on the west coast over The Pennines to Grassington. Paul Hatton, the group’s health and safety manager, will travel with the cyclists to give first aid support, while two of the AM Services senior team will provide transport for the cyclists’ equipment and much-needed drinks and snacks along the route.

The 27 strong team from NewRiver, Hawthorn Leisure and advisors have varying levels of cycling proficiency and tonnes of enthusiasm and would be extremely grateful for any donation to help them meet their target of at least £20,000.
