Thank you to all our amazing staff on World FM Day 2017

Once a year the facilities management community comes together to celebrate FM on World FM Day. This year, it’s today Wednesday 17th May.

Facilities management, or looking after properties to make sure they are well maintained and in the best possible condition for the staff, customers or visitors in them to have a great experience, is a service that is all about people.

On World FM Day, we would like to celebrate all the wonderful people working in AM Services Group. These are the people on the front line who provide washroom, cleaning, security, and specialist cleaning services; our business development teams that help our business grow; our operational teams who manage our contracts; and our office staff who make sure that our company runs smoothly. Time and time again we hear stories of how they contribute to our company’s success by giving our clients great service. So, we would like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to all of you.

Our MD Adrian Cresswell says: “Every week we have new news about members of our team who have gone above and beyond the call of duty, showing the flexibility, willingness and commitment to go the extra mile. There are the Teams and Employees of the Month who are regularly featured on our news, there are fabulous teams who win external awards, there are our loyal, long-service staff members, there are people who throw themselves whole-heartedly into community projects and joint fundraising ventures with clients, running marathons, doing sponsored walks, and even boxing!

And there are the staff who work hard every day to provide the best possible service they can, often in dirty or difficult circumstances, to keep our customers happy.

And to each and every single one of you, I’d like to say well done, how proud I am that our ‘one team, one goal’ genuinely runs through our business, and thanks for everything you do.”

Explaining more about what World FM Day is, Duncan Waddell, Chairman of Global FM, said: “The 2017 theme emphasises facilities management’s significant role in setting and managing the scene for and delivering exceptional customer experiences worldwide across multiple sectors. The breadth of sectors impacted by FM is everywhere and there are examples in travel and tourism, residential, entertainment, leisure, health, education and commerce, as well as the wider workplace.
