Good Luck to AM Operations Manager Paul Nelson – Man vs Lakes Challenge

This coming Saturday, Paul will be taking on the Man vs Lakes event which is a marathon distance run starting at Silverdale and finishing at Graythwaite Hall after over 3000ft of ascent. The first 6 miles is across the bay followed by a multitude of obstacles which you can see at http://ratrace.com/manvslakes2016/the-route/. Just in case anyone fancies coming and cheering him on, the race starts at about 10.00hrs and the organisers are expecting the first finishers over the line after 6 hours. Paul thinks he is going to come in at around the 8 hours mark. 

Paul is raising money for Duchenne Now, supporting the research for a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a condition which he became aware of after getting to know the family of a pupil at his wife’s school who has it.
