Picnics, walks and wildlife are the order of the day for a healthy, happy and fun day out for all the family at Bowland Wild Boar Park, near Preston, and the customer experience must be consistently high. From a friendly welcome to a ramble in the beautiful wooded countryside of Chipping; exciting views of the wild boar and longhorn cows; parties; camping pods; tractor rides and delicious offerings in the café, visitors must leave feeling thoroughly delighted and looked after.
Bowland Wild Boar Park has thrived on providing a quality experience since 1999, and has even been awarded a Green Tourism Gold Award. Set in 65 acres of land, it now attracts over 30 thousand visitors every year. The park was originally a working farm, run by the current owner Chris Bailey’s father for around 35 years. There is a huge sense of pride in the family run business.
Happy and healthy
When the park began working with AM Services Group (AMSG) in 2016, it was keen to ensure that every aspect of the customer experience was as perfect as possible. And, with health and safety comprising a key part of that experience, Bowland Wild Boar Park wanted to make sure that all their facilities were as hygienic and pleasant as they could be.
AMSG now helps to keep Bowland Wild Boar Park’s washrooms clean, hygienic and ready for use, no matter how large the volume of people visiting the leisure venue throughout the year.
Owner Chris Bailey was originally looking for a company that would provide a regular and reliable sanitary and nappy waste removal and disposal service, and AMSG was happy to deliver this.
However, the park had a particular problem with keeping the busy urinal area clean and fresh for guests. AMSG, as a company that listens and has a wealth of expertise in washroom services, was able to help. The company went the extra mile to supply the Ureco urinal sleeve. This has not only enhanced the user experience in the men’s washroom, increasing the aesthetics and eradicating unpleasant odours and blockages, but has also allowed the venue to save water and money.
